Beaches Village Street - Canvas Print

A sun-drenched street, big leafy trees, the odd old street car along Queen Street, even old telephone poles and wires and the village shops all combine to make you feel you've entereda  hidden little village, away from the hustle and bustle of Toronto. Indeed many Torontonians may have heard of the Beaches but may never have been there, popped into the local shops or strolled down an avenue down to the lake and sandy beaches and the boardwalk. Maybe it's Toronto's best kept secret, because in Winter it's silent when it snows... like a Christmas card. But in summer it comes alive with sunshine and flowers along road and festivals with jazz along the leafy roads. This canvas artwork contains many layers and grunge treatments each carefully placed to encourage exploration and emotion. This intricate artwork is based on my photograph taken in the beaches recently for its creation, I transformed my photograph into an art painting that will hold your imagination and attention for many summers to come.
