The Beaches Boardwalk is lovely in summer, though bright sunlight can make the landscape a bit bright. So I transformed this into what I saw in my mind... with rich evening jewel toned colours and a play on light bouncing off the clouds and the lake. Who knows where the golden path may lead? This creation comprises over thirty layers and textures. I began with the sky, came down to the water crossed to dress up the trees then painted the wooden boardwalk into the distance, listening to my favourite music. As always I have hidden several artsy elements among in the painting. I hope you enjoy the play on light in the fourth in my Beaches series.
